I had always dreamed of owning a muscle car or antique auto. In 1998, a family friend said he needed to show me a car "I needed to have". After some negotiating, the 1953 Packard Mayfair ended up in my driveway! After two years of restoration, it was finally ready to be shown at the annual National Packard Museum show in 2000. It should have been ready for the 1999 Centennial show, but that's a story in itself!

Since that time, I have also aquired a 1953 Packard Clipper Deluxe, a 1953 Packard Cavalier, and a 1956 Packard Clipper Deluxe. I had purchased a 1957 Cadillac Sedan DeVille which has been on the back burner since 1995. I began volunteering at the museum in 2004, was the co-chair for the 2007 and 2008 shows, chairman of the 2009 show, and served on the board for six years.
